At the heart of the Cross-Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA) is a proud history of providing dedicated service to cross-border road transport operators, in the form of market access regulation, issuing cross-border permits as well as providing necessary support to the rapidly growing small and medium cross-border road transport businesses. The C-BRTA has remained the driving force behind the cross-border business focus, regardless of the challenges it has faced over the past 25 years.

Business Update
The C-BRTA makes it on the AGSA Honour Roll

Dear Colleagues

The C-BRTA is proud to announce that it is on the Honour Roll of clean audits. This comes after the Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA) released the audit outcomes of the national and provincial governments.

The Honour Roll clean audits refer to municipalities or public entities in South Africa that consistently receive the highest audit rating—an unqualified opinion with no material findings from AGSA for five or more consecutive years. It signifies sustained excellence in financial management, accountability, and good governance, rather than a one-time achievement.

The C-BRTA achieved a major milestone by securing its 10th consecutive clean audit from the AGSA in 2025. Being the only transport entity on the Honour Roll is a huge achievement that highlights the Agency’s commitment to financial, compliance, and governance excellence.

Well done, Team C-BRTA!
