Profiling Unit

The Profiling unit will play an advisory role to the Agency, the Regulatory Committee and law enforcement authorities in the country and in the region through:
- Gathering general information on traffic flows and tendencies;
- Gathering information on passenger and freight flows and volumes;
- Monitoring industry compliance levels and trends through the analysis of cross-border offences;
- Creating operator profiles for both domestic and foreign operators;
- Determining operators risk profiles, a critical function for the successful implementation of the Operators Compliance Accreditation Scheme;
- Generation of cross-border road transport operations intelligence;
- Assessment of risks related to cross-border operations (potential conflicts, human trafficking, and transportation of illicit goods) and advising relevant authorities;
- Conduct investigations on operator activities (illegal operations and fraudulent activities); and
- Advising on intelligent deployment of law enforcement resources.
