Overview of the Strategic Communications Unit
The purpose of the Strategic Communications Unit is to uphold the C-BRTA brand by ensuring that the Agency communicates efficiently and efficiently with its internal and external stakeholders at all times. The C-BRTA, as a regulator of cross-border road transportation, has a wide stakeholder group and it is important for the Agency to build and sustain the relationships with the stakeholders by communicating effectively and effectively in order to stamp the C-BRTA’s authority as a critical role player in building an efficient cross-border road transport industry.

Our Objectives

Value Add
The Communications Unit maintains the C-BRTA brand by rendering a value-adding service to the Agency through the provision of internal and external communication support to various Divisions that form part of the C-BRTA family. Below are some of the communications services which are provided by the Unit;
- Editing and compiling of organisational publications;
- Developing user-friendly outputs from bulky documentations/publications
- Service provision in the compilation of the Agency’s Annual Report;
- Providing advisory services in relation to corporate identity and image;
- Design and visual presentation services;
- Event coordination services for organisational events;
- Maintain the Agency’s internal and external websites;
- Facilitate media relations;
- Facilitate internal communications; and
- Conceptualise and implement organisational campaigns, etc.
