CEO Message to staff
Dear Colleagues,
In my previous message to you I mentioned that we had an unfortunate positive COVID-19 case of one of our colleagues and to ensure the safety of our staff, we undertook a process of deep cleaning and sanitizing the entire office at which time the office building was closed for the week of June 29th.
This process has now been completed and staff will now be required to return to work from Monday July 6th 2020.
As per the Department of Health and labour protocol and EXCO’s resolution, staff exempt from returning to office fall into the listed categories below:
- Staff aged 60 years and above
- Staff seating in open plan spaces in exception of regulatory staff
- Staff with underlying medical conditions confirmed by a letter from a medical professional
All exempted staff are still required to continue to work from home until such time that a different directive is given.
Let me take this opportunity to thank you all for your unwavering support as we continue to execute our mandate irrespective of this pandemic. Rest assured that your dedication has not gone unnoticed.
Always remember to wear your mask, sanitize your hands with an alcohol-based sanitizer and wash your hands with soap for 40-60 seconds. Adopting such safety measures goes a long way in deterring the spread of COVID-19.
NB: Managers are urged to share the content of this message with employees in their business unit who do not have access to emails.
Please Stay safe
Warm Regards
Lwazi Mboyi
