Regulatory Sub-committee Unit

Key Functions

This Unit is responsible for liaising with the South African municipalities including counterparts on annual passenger applications amongst the other;

  • Approval of compliant annual renewals within same day
  • Facilitate concurrency process between South African municipalities and our counterparts
  • Prepare and facilitate government gazette applications
  • Prepare Regulatory Sub-Committee agenda’s
  • Prepare Regulatory Open Hearing agenda’s
  • Advertise annual passenger applications
  • Registration of taxi associations
  • Facilitate taxi association confirmation with the Provincial Regulatory Entity (PRE)
