  1. Revenue Management

Revenue management is the management of the gross inflow of economic benefits or service potential during the reporting period, when those inflows result in increase in net assets. The Agency currently has two main revenue streams, which are  Permit revenue and Penalty revenue.

  • Permit Revenue

This refers to  revenue generated on the issuing of permits and measured based on the regulated tariffs in accordance with the Cross Border Road Transport Act No. 4 of 1998

  • Penalty Revenue

This refers to  revenue generated and received by the Agency as a consequence of the breach of the laws or regulation by Road operators according Section 56 of the Criminal Procedure Act.

  • Processing and recording of income, cash collections and debtors management accounting transactions
  • Recording and crediting of relevant accounts
  • Recording of closed case documents (J14’s)
  • Issuance of receipts and debtors statements
  • Interaction and collection of debts from the operators

  • Payment Gateway – Ony for permits income
