How do the Units support the C-BRTA
The Finance and Supply Chain Management Unit supports employees and the Agency in planning, controlling and monitoring of their financial resources to achieve the operational targets and to provide support in achieving the Agency’s strategic plan.
This support involves:
- The setting up of financial performance targets for various business units (budgets, ad hoc benchmarking);
- Measurement of financial performance against targets set through regular management reporting.
- Liaison with Heads of Business Units and others to ensure continuous feedback on financial matters;
- Support the Government target of empowering previous disadvantaged people through specific procurement goals/target;
- Procuring goods/services in line with the prescripts; and
- Providing of information to support management decision-making processes.
